Management of Personal Data

In France, personal data is notably protected by Law No. 78-87 of January 6, 1978, Law No. 2004-801 of August 6, 2004, Article L. 226-13 of the Penal Code, and the European Directive of October 24, 1995.

In the course of using the website https://www.fgm-agriculture.com/, the following may be collected: the URL of the links through which the user accessed the website https://www.fgm-agriculture.com/, the user’s internet service provider, and the user’s IP address.
 

What is a cookie?

Cookies or connection tokens send information about you to the developers of the technologies you use. You should be able to know what this information is, for what purposes it is used, and most importantly, you have the right to object to their use.

FGM INTERNATIONAL undertakes to follow the recommendations of the CNIL regarding the collection and processing of your personal data. We make every effort to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act.

Cookies requiring consent

According to the CNIL, 3 types of non-functional cookies require consent from internet users:

  • Cookies related to targeted advertising operations; Some audience measurement cookies ;
  • Some audience measurement cookies ;
  • Social media cookies generated notably by their share buttons when they collect personal data without the consent of the individuals concerned.

On the FGM INTERNATIONAL website, we use the following audience measurement cookies :

  • Google Analytics : to better understand how the site is used by internet users in order to improve their browsing experience.

How do we collect consent ?

We display a banner explicitly asking the person if they accept the deposit by cookie families. The person has means to withdraw their consent; they simply need to modify their authorization for cookie collection themselves.

Cookie lifespan

The law requires a maximum lifespan of cookies of 13 months. Considering that consent to be tracked may be forgotten by individuals who expressed it at a given moment, the CNIL considers it necessary to limit the scope of this consent over time. At the expiration of this period, consent will be requested again during a next visit to the FGM INTERNATIONAL website.

Methods to accept or refuse cookie deposits

Initially, the internet user accepts or refuses from the banner describing the purposes of cookie deposits.

Secondly, they can choose to accept or refuse the insertion of cookies at any time by clicking on the “service management” button, then by prohibiting or authorizing cookie deposits by purposes.

They can also accept or allow the deposit of third-party cookies directly from their web browser :

Chrome :

Menu > Settings > Show advanced settings (at the bottom of the menu on the left).

Then click on the Privacy and Security tab and then on Content Settings > Cookies > Block third-party cookies.

Firefox :

Menu > Options > “Privacy and Security” tab.

Set the “History” section to “Use custom settings for history”.

Finally, set “Never” for the rule “Accept third-party cookies”.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, or objection by making a request to the data controller:

The data controller then has 2 months to provide you with a satisfactory response. In the absence of a response, you have the right to file a complaint with the CNIL.
